龜在中華歷史中擁有崇高地位，殷商的貞人通過燒灼龜殼來預測吉凶，然後將卦象記錄在龜背上，這留下了甲骨文的最早形態。

Turtles have held a revered position in Chinese history. During the Yin Dynasty, diviners used to predict fortunes by roasting turtle shells and recording hexagrams on their backs, marking the earliest form of oracle bone script.

       龜、龍、鳳凰、麒麟被譽為四靈。玄龜也是古代四聖獸之一，與青龍、白虎、朱雀並列。

Turtles, dragons, phoenixes, and qilins are known as the Four Divine Beasts. The Xuanwu, or Black Tortoise, is one of the ancient Four Holy Beasts, alongside the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, and Vermilion Bird.

       傳說中，一隻神龜出現在洛水，其甲殼上顯示出此圖案：戴九履一，左三右七，二四為肩，六八為足，以五居中。周文王通過解讀龜殼上的卜象，推演出我們今天在風水學中仍然使用的「洛書」，洛書亦稱為龜書。

In legend, a divine turtle appeared in the Luo River, bearing a pattern on its shell: "Wear nine and step one, three on the left and seven on the right, two and four on the shoulders, six and eight on the feet, with five in the center." King Wen of Zhou Dynasty, by deciphering the divination on the turtle shell, derived the "Luoshu," still used in Feng Shui today. In the original I Ching source, the Luoshu is referred to as the Turtle Book.

       在戰國時代，龜作為將軍調兵遣將的龜符龜旗，《禮記·禮運》曰：「大將之旗以龜為飾」。

During the Warring States period, turtles were used as symbols on banners and flags to direct the movements of generals, as mentioned in the "Book of Rites: Lüyun."

       在《山海經》中，龜被視為神獸；龜象徵著長壽。

In the "Shan Hai Jing," turtles were seen as mythical creatures symbolizing longevity.

       曹操是最善於將神龜融入文學作品的人之一，他的技巧令人嘆為觀止。《龜雖壽》便是其顛峰之作。

Cao Cao was one of the masters at incorporating the divine turtle into literary works, displaying remarkable skill. The poem is called “Longevity of Turtles” 《龜雖壽》which has been widely circulated and become a master piece.

       我的朋友們都知道我熱愛曹魏時期的建安文學。在三國亂世中，民眾飽受戰亂之苦，卻仍然能湧現出大量文學巨著，形成了著名的建安風骨。

My friends all know of my passion for the Jian'an literature of the Cao Wei era. In the tumultuous Three Kingdoms era, despite the hardships faced by the people due to warfare, a wealth of literary masterpieces emerged, forming the renowned Jian'an literary style.

       曹操是建安文學的主心骨和開創者，他文武雙全，懂軍事也懂文學，特立獨行。《魏志．荀彧傳》曰：「外定武功，內興文學。」

Cao Cao was the leader and pioneer of Jian'an literature. He excelled in both military strategy and literature, setting himself apart. In the "Book of Wei: Biography of Xun Yu," it is said, "He achieved military success on the outside and promoted literature on the inside."

       他顛覆了儒學的附庸和文學駢文格律，強調現實主義，注重思想和情感表達，秉承了樂府民歌「緣事而發」的精神，個性鮮明，豪情萬丈。

He subverted the conventions of Confucianism and classical literary forms, creating a unique literary style. Unconstrained by traditional Confucian thought, he emphasized realism, focused on intellectual and emotional expression, and followed the spirit of "emerging from events" seen in Yuefu folk songs. His personality was distinct, and his spirit was resolute.

神龜雖壽，猶有竟時。
螣蛇乘霧，終為土灰。
老驥伏櫪，志在千里。
烈士暮年，壯心不已。
盈縮之期，不但在天。
養怡之福，可得永年。
幸甚至哉，歌以詠志。

Though the tortoise has a long life, it still has its time.

Though the winged serpents rides on the fog, and it turns into dust and ashes in the end.

An old war-horse may be stabled; yet still it longs to gallop a thousand miles.

A noble-hearted man though advanced in years, he never abandons his proud aspirations.

The length of a person's lifespan is not entirely determined by the god alone.

As long as one maintains physical and mental health, one can prolong life and have eternal life.

 

       曹操通過比喻來表達一匹老戰馬雖然待在馬廄里，仍然夢想馳騁千里。他表達了對命運的自信，不因年齡的增長而停止追求崇高的抱負，並表達養生的重要性。

Cao Cao used a metaphor by stating an old war-horse though staying in the stables, it still thinks to run for a thousand miles. He expressed confident and disbelief in the destiny, and wouldn’t stop any lofty ambitions because of old age, as long as keeping physical and mental health well.

       這給了我很多關於長壽的啓示，這種偉大的智慧在2000年前已經由曹操表達出來的。

This provides me a lot of insights on longevity, and this great wisdom was expressed by Cao Cao nearly 2000 years ago.

​

       面對老齡化趨勢，AI的發展潛力無限，能有效提高老年人的生活質量，同時有助於實現ESG目標的追求。
